Peanut Butter cookies are immense pleasure for those who are greatly in love with peanut butter. I am not a big fan of peanut butter i don’t even like them spread on my toast or those reeses peanut butter cups my H is opposite he just loves peanut butter so I had to try these cookies, but trust me these peanut cookies are the once I really love so I found that I love peanut butter only in form of cookies. These cookies are packed with peanut butter flavor and people who are crazy fans of peanut butter will just gobble 2-3 in a time these are super soft and crunchy the texture is same as the tea kadai butter biscuits we get in India but the only difference is the peanut butter flavor.
I have been missing in action for past one week missed to post all my Christmas recipe :(.. I was out of country, after seeing all updates in Fb shared by our blogging friend I really missed Blogging a lot. Am happy to be back with this addictive cookie which is originated from United states. This is my own take and it turned out just perfect. I made peanut butter cookies, Snowmen cookies and strawberry thumbprint cookies for my Daughter school Christmas party and saw all the happy faces after yumm num nummimg the cookies. Just felt fabulous to make them for the little ones. Belated Christmas wishes to each and every one 🙂

- Pre heat the oven at 350 F for 15 mins.
- In a large bowl add unsalted butter and peanut butter. Mix them well , add sugar to it.
- Mix them till they are creamy. Add vanilla essence to it.
- Sieve All purpose flour and baking pd in to the creamed butter mixer.
- Mix them slowly and form a dough. Divide the dough to equal part and roll each of them to balls .
- Flatten each ball slightly by pressing it between palm and give some design using a fork or a cookie press if you have one.
- Place the shaped and designed cookie on a cookie tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10 – 15 mins at 350 F . Bake till the cookies are light brown,10 – 15 mins not more .
- Once baked let them sit on the tray for 10 – 15 mins again , after they cool transfer them to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
- Once they are done cooling transfer them to an air tight container and enjoy.
- If you feel the dough is difficult to handle or soft then you can refrigerate the dough for 1/2 hour or so and then shape them.
- You can increase the amount of peanut butter and reduce the butter. For me 1 cup was perfect to get the flavor and taste. if you want more you can reduce 1/2 cup of butter and add 1/2 cup extra of peanut butter to the recipe but remember to reduce the quantity of butter added.
