I have already posted French dosa toast in here but wanted to redo do it with some veggies in this toast. This is one quick and interest idea for breakfast , as many tend to get bored with the same old Dosa isn’t it. I make dosa toast often and adding veggies made it more yummier. This is the south indian version of french toast which can be prepared in minutes and taste Like a paniyaram , seriously when I made the first time h said that it tastes just like paniyaram . I add idli podi to make it a little spicy on top so which gave me the end product in golden yellowish in color but it can be skipped. You have some leftover bread you don’t know what to do then this can make a quick tea time snack. This is one of my fav tea time snack which I make often. Lets move on to the recipe..

Ingredients
Dosa batter – 1 1/2 cup
Bread slices – 3 slices
Vegetables- 1/4 cup Finely chopped ( I used french beans, grated carrot, onions, tomato, green chillies)
Idli chutney pd/ mulagai podi as required
Urad dhal- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Oil – for toasting as required
Salt to taste
Method
- In a pan heat oil add mustard seeds and urad dhal , let the mustard splatter and now add the Onions .
- After they turn translucent transfer them to the dosa batter. If you want you can saute the veggies lightly even. But I wanted some crunch of veggies in the toast so added the veggies to the batter directly.
- Add the veggies , salt, coriander leaves to the batter and mix them well.
- Heat a tawa, take a slice of bread . Dip the bread in dosa batter . You have to be quick in dipping and covering the bread slice with dosa batter as the moisture can break the bread . So dip the bread in batter and transfer it to hot tawa for toasting .
- Now on top of this i added milagai podi/ idli chutney pd for making it spicy but you can skip it.
- Toast the the bread both the sides till golden brown and serve hot with some chutney or sauce.
