I like to use the leftover’s in a way that my h never know’s that i have made them with leftover rice π . Here is recipe of that kind most of us have leftover rice some times so i made these delicious leftover Rice pancake from Homely food . These are absolutely healthy and delicious snack. Lets move on to this delicious pancakes recipe.
Ingredients
3/4 cup leftover cooked rice
1 cup wheat flour
1 tsp kasuri methi
2 green chillies chopped fine
3 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp grated carrot
1/2 tsp chopped ginger
3 tbsp chopped coriander/cilantro leaves
1 tsp red chilli pd
1/2 tsp cumin pd
1/4 tsp turmeric pd
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil + frying the pancakes
water as required
Method
- In a bowl add wheat flour and add other ingredients excluding oil for frying . Add water to get dosa batter consistency.
- Heat a dosa tawa /skillet add some oil and pour a ladle full of batter and spread it into round as we do for dosa . Let it cook on one side. If needed put little oil on side to make it easy to turn.
- Flip other side once done and cook both the sides till golden brown . Once cooked, serve hot with any chutney, curd, pickle or tomato ketchup.
